Rachel Davey

Through my practice I aim to question the boundaries of illustration. I am interested in process, thinking and discovery through the act of making; exploring drawing, moving image, collaboration and creative workshops.

My research interests include exploring the impact of socially conscious art and how acts of collaboration and creativity can create meaningful experience.

I am 1/4 of Studio Newbie, a collaboration of 4 friends who met at the Royal College of Art. Running making-focused events that aim to explore the practicalities of working and making collaboratively.
